Make it simple to upload your web resume to a web server and do the following:
The mistake most people make is having absolute links to graphics or other web pages; the absolute links point to a drive and directory on their local hard drives. When people try to view the web page, they obviously cannot link to your computer, and they'll get an error message. You can avoid this problem if you follow the steps we've outlined in this article. If your web server provides you with an FTP account (File Transfer Protocol), it is easy to upload your files with an FTP utility program such as EliteFTP (it's shareware and can be downloaded from http://www.simtel.net). Although most HTML editors offer the capability to publish directly to the web server, FrontPage is notorious for uploading a lot of completely extraneous files, taking up at least twice the server space actually needed (about ten times the server space if you use themes).
